We are an independent research collaborative whose mandate is to conduct research and engage Ontario hospitals in performance measurement and management activities. We aim to achieve three objectives:

• improve the quality of care provided by Ontario's hospitals
• enhance hospital accountability
• conduct research into the determinants of good performance in health care.

The Hospital Report Research Collaborative includes faculty and staff based at six universities and five research institutes.
