In addition to the many investigators who form the Hospital Report Research Collaborative, a number of organisations play key roles in the development of our reports.
These organisations include:
- Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) - Since 2000, CIHI assumed responsibility for the production of the Acute Care Hospital Report series. In 2007, CIHI assumed the analysis and production of the Acute Care, Complex Continuing Care, Emergency Department Care, and Rehabilitation Hospital Report series.
- Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Since the inception of the Hospital Report project in 1997, project management and support has been based at the University of Toronto.
- The ideas FOR HEALTH informatics research cluster at the University of Waterloo - In 2005, the University of Waterloo team assumed responsibility for managing the e-Tools developed and/or distributed by the Hospital Report Research Collaborative.
- Institute for Clinical Evaluative Services (ICES) - Experts from ICES play key roles in the calculation of most indicators in the Hospital Report series that rely on clinical data.
- Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) - The OHA is a co-funder of the project, and facilitates extensive access to its members who serve on numerous advisory panels that are crucial to the success of the project.
- Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) - The MOHLTC is a co-funder of the project and facilitates access to much of the data needed to perform the analyses reported by the Hospital Report Research Collaborative.

Ontario Women's Health Council (OWHC) - The Ontario Women's Health Council sponsors the
integration of women's health into the Hospital Report series, as well as
additional projects in performance management and measurement in women's
health.
